And of course!

just like any other little boy... he just had to pick the scab! yuck! it was kinda funny to see him doing it though, i wouldn't have thought as young as he is he would pick a scab. ehk. i don't know what happened to it though but i guess i could only imagine. either he ate it(yuck yuck yuck), or it is somewhere on my carpet waiting to be sucked up. i think i will go and pull out the vacuum tonight!

I remember being a kid!

the christmas right after i turned 6 i got my first 2 wheeler bike, however i didn't know how to ride it. luckily by brother josh knew and was very excited to teach me. we practiced and practiced and i had it the first day. i was so excited and felt so big. josh and i had decided to ride on up to my granny's house. somewhere along the way i lost control and crashed. as i lied on the side of the extremely non-busy road screaming that i knew i was going to die, josh went home to get my mom. it's funny thinking back to when i was a kid having a skinned knee was the end of the world to me. i wonder if it was just me i am a little dramatic about most everything, or if it's a girl thing??? Hmmm? anyways yesterday when i changed robert's diaper i noticed he was bleeding! he got his first skinned knee! funny he never cried i didn't even know anything had happened. what a brave little boy i am so proud of him. one of the first GOOD signs that he's not 100% like his mama.

My First Time

so i took robert to get his hair cut quite a while ago, and the girl butchered his hair, and i mean it was awful so bad that she didn't charge us. so over this beautiful easter weekend i decided to take a wack at it my self FOR THE FIRST TIME. he went from extremely happy and excited to absolutely terrified if less than 3 minutes. i must say it did turn out okay though much better than the "professional" who obviously didn't know what she was doing. maybe i should go into the biz...

Sugarhouse Park

we finally made it to sugarhouse park to feed the ducks and have some family time. as soon as we arrived and got out of the car the ducks and seagulls and even quite a few pigeons came running/waddling or what ever it is a bird does. it was neat because they were so hungry and ready for spring to come and for all the park visitors to feed them they were even eating right out of our hands, robert loved it. we did have a good time and fortunately remembered to bring the camera so here are some pictures of the fun we had at the park feeding our BUNS to the birds.

My Admission

Okay i will finally admit that i am the one. i am terrible at making sure i get things in the mail. i have had a box full of christmas presents for my sister and her kids that has been sitting here since before christmas as well as envelopes full of pictures for her and my dad that have been here even longer! waylon's friend josh came to visit back in october i think, anyways he left his glasses and wanted them mailed, and again nope still here is a box already addressed and everything just here waiting to be sent! i am the worse, but if any of you are reading i am going to seriously get all this stuff sent off, but don't be surprised if it takes a little bit. i am just starting to come to terms with this problem and can't make too many promises too soon in the process.

Blogging

Lately i have been dropping the ball with my blog things have just been getting a little too busy over the last few weeks! Robert and i have both been sick and are just now starting to feel a bit better, and boy am i glad about that. having a sick baby is definitely no fun, with all the fever crying and wining. it's also heart breaking when there is nothing much you can do that you haven't already done. now that all that is all over i am glad to get back to my blog and to my regular routine. thanks for having me back and look forward to some good stories!
